The Snow Sisters is the second of the Sisters in Bloom series and is the story of Kaylie and Chas. Kaylie is the sister of Danica from book 1 and is a singer and Chas is the producer of a local film festival. This book tells the story of their first year together as they journey to their wedding and the birth of their first child. Both of the main characters struggle with demons from their past that make it hard for them to move forward as a couple but in the end learn the tools they need to make their relationship long lasting. Plus you get to hear more about Danica and Blake, No Limitz and the rest of the crew we came to love in the first book. I enjoyed the audio version of this book as much as I did reading the Kindle version. The narrator does a great job adjusting his voice so you can identify which character is speaking. The only suggestion I would give you is to wear earplugs or to be careful where you listen some of the scenes are not intend for little ears and could result in a conversation you are not ready to have. Melissa Foster is one of my favorites and I would strongly encourage anyone to read her books and the Sisters in Bloom books are were all the fun starts.Product details

While this book pays a bit more attention to the relationship between Kylie and Chaz, it does not leave Danica, Blake or any of the "supporting" characters to wait on the sidelines.
This book is about love, friendships, family relationships, healing, and definitely consequences. While there were moments I felt like there was a bit too much drama for one persons life, I realized that sometimes people like Kylie are magnets for drama and chaos. It was so awesome to watch her grow and mature as her belly grew bigger. She really is a much deeper character than she ever gave herself credit for.
This book, like book 1, just flowed so well. It didn't have any book 2 awkwardness. This was the second time I have read this and I just may have enjoyed it more the second time around.
This author can nail a sensual scene without taking away from the story. The scenes enhance the story and don't distract from the deeper connections between characters.
I am quickly moving on to book 3..and while I have read it before, I have forgotten what happens with a couple of the supporting characters---Max, Sally, Gage, Michelle....
You know the author is fabulous when so many characters are introduced and I have no problem keeping them all straight.

I cannot get enough of Melissa Foster's books and I enjoyed this one so much I tore through it within a couple days! Whenever I can't decide what book to read from the numerous books I have waiting to be read on my , I often read one of Melissa Foster's books because I know, without a doubt, that I will love the story and it will leave me with a warm and cuddly feeling afterward. Sisters in Bloom was no exception. I loved the first book in the series, Sisters in Love, and was all too happy to settle back into the beautiful tourist town of Allure, Colorado and read the next book in the series. Sisters in Bloom is more about Kaylie, the younger of the Snow sisters, and her fiance Chaz. Kaylie's pregnant and, as her pregnancy progresses, she starts to discover more about herself. I loved watching her mature and really liked her character more and more as the book went on. I also enjoyed reading about how Danica and Blake's relationship progresses and I could feel how much they love each other. I was so happy for both Danica and Kaylie for learning about forgiveness and love! The surprise at the end was so amazing and I can't wait to read the next book in the series! I highly recommend all Melissa Foster books because they are incredibly well-written, beautiful romances that will leave you wanting more!
This is the second book I ever read of Melissa Fosters, while I loved Sisters in Love book 1, this one well I loved it but I didn't like Kaylie for most of the book, she was so self centered, but thankfully the rest of the characters in this book make it worth reading. I love Chaz and god he so deserves a medal for dealing with Kaylie. Melissa I don't know how you came up with her, but that sure shows you can write a fantastic book. Thank god it turns out good. Was so worth reading and I'm so thankful that I read Sisters in Love first, and you should read it first then move on to this one. I recommend reading them in order. I did like this one too, I liked it so much I listened to it on Audio and BJ Harrison did a fantastic job narrating Sisters in Bloom(he made me like the book that much more) he was awesome at reading the females just as the males, I wonder if it would have been different had a women narrarated the female voices and kept B.J. for the males? Just a thought, even though he did a phenomenal job and I so hope he is the narrator for the rest of the series and I can't wait to hear them. Thank you Melissa you picked a fantastic voice when you picked BJ Harrison to read your book. I look forward to many many more. Go get this book and the audio version too. Both are worth it.
